Dreadnought Resources Announces Significant Bedrock Anomalies at Illaara Gold Project
- Dreadnought completed a 493-hole air core drilling program at Illaara Gold Project
- Identified 13 distinct gold mineralised corridors with strong pathfinder elements
- Significant intercepts include 18m @ 0.8g/t Au and 6m @ 0.4g/t Au
- Only 10% of the greenstone belt has been tested by this first pass program
- Follow-up infill drilling and further exploration planned for 2026
Dreadnought Resources Ltd. has announced the results of its first-pass air core drilling program at the Illaara Gold Project, located in the Yilgarn region of Western Australia. The program successfully identified 13 distinct gold mineralised corridors, totaling over 40km in strike, with significant intercepts such as 18m @ 0.8g/t Au and 6m @ 0.4g/t Au. The mineralised corridors exhibit strong orogenic gold pathfinders, indicating a large-scale potential for a significant gold discovery. Notably, only 10% of the greenstone belt has been tested by this initial program. Dreadnought plans to commence a follow-up infill program at Black Oak and CRA Homestead in August 2026 to define targets for RC drilling, and further first pass air core drilling in new areas within Illaara in September/October 2026.
Dreadnought plans to continue exploring the Illaara Gold Project with follow-up infill drilling and further air core drilling in new areas, aiming to define targets for RC drilling and potentially discover a significant gold deposit.
