Midas Minerals Reports High-Grade Copper Intersection at Deblin
- Midas intersects 35.6m at 3.35% Cu, 6.1g/t Ag, and 0.19g/t Au in Deblin
- Second intercept of 17.7m at 3.21% Cu, 11.3g/t Ag, and 0.09g/t Au
- Deblin target corridor extends at least 1km with further drilling planned
Midas Minerals Ltd has reported significant high-grade copper intersections from its first diamond drill hole at the Deblin deposit on the Otavi Copper Project, Namibia. The drill hole DBDD001 intersected two wide zones of strong copper sulphide mineralisation: 35.6m at 3.35% Cu, 6.1g/t Ag, and 0.19g/t Au from 367m, and 17.7m at 3.21% Cu, 11.3g/t Ag, and 0.09g/t Au from 429.1m. The hole also includes an interval of elevated precious metals of 9.3m at 0.65g/t Au and 16.6g/t Ag from 386.3m, within the broader copper mineralisation. Midas Managing Director Mark Calderwood commented on the impressive consistency and tenor of copper mineralisation over the substantial intervals.
Further assays expected throughout Q3 CY2026
Midas plans to accelerate exploration with up to nine rigs on site to deliver an updated mineral resource estimate for T-13 deposit and initial resources for Deblin and Spaatzu early next year.
