Tabcorp Holdings Ltd (ASX: TAH) has announced its intention to acquire 100% of BetMakers Technology Group (ASX: BET) for $267 million, reflecting an enterprise value of approximately $267 million. The acquisition, which is expected to close during Q3 FY27, will see Tabcorp benefit from BetMakers' successful technology transformation over the past two years. The deal is anticipated to accelerate Tabcorp's technology modernization efforts, establish a global B2B growth engine, and deliver significant cost synergies. Tabcorp targets $30 million in cost synergies by the end of Year 2, driven by operational efficiencies and technology cost savings. The acquisition is expected to be earnings per share (EPS) accretive from Year 2 and double-digit EPS accretive from Year 3.
