Southern Palladium Limited has been granted a Mining Right by the South African Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources for its Bengwenyama Platinum Group Metals (PGM)-chrome project. The grant marks a significant milestone in the project's development, allowing for the mining and extraction of PGMs, gold, copper, chrome, cobalt, silver, and nickel over the project area. The Mining Right is valid for an initial 30 years, with the possibility of renewal. The project is expected to produce over 400,000 ounces of PGMs and 1 million tons of high-grade chrome concentrate per annum. The company is now focused on completing the Definitive Feasibility Study, scheduled for Q1 2027, and preparing for early development works.
