Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) announced strong financial results for the full year ended 30 June 2026. Cash net profit after tax increased by 7% to $11 billion, up from $10.3 billion in the previous year. Pre-provision profit also increased by 6% to $16.5 billion, reflecting solid operational performance across all domestic businesses. Return on equity rose to 14.0%, supported by lending volume growth in core businesses and a broadly stable underlying net interest margin. The final dividend was set at $2.70 per share, fully franked, bringing the total FY26 dividend per share to $5.05, fully franked. The full-year dividend payout ratio was 77%, within the target range of 70-80%. The bank maintained a strong capital position with a Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio of 12.0%, well above APRA's minimum regulatory requirement of 10.25%.
