Origin Energy Ltd announced its full-year results for FY26, reporting a statutory profit of $1,574 million, up from $1,481 million in FY25. The underlying profit decreased to $1,159 million from $1,490 million in FY25 due to lower commodity-linked earnings from Integrated Gas and higher depreciation and amortization. Underlying EBITDA was $3,220 million, down from $3,411 million in FY25, with improvements in Energy Markets and Octopus Energy partially offset by reduced Integrated Gas earnings. Adjusted Free Cash Flow increased by $867 million to $2,074 million, driven by strong cash flow from Energy Markets and Australia Pacific LNG and lower tax paid. The company also announced a fully franked final dividend of 30 cents per share, bringing total FY26 dividends to 60 cents per share.
FY27 Energy Markets EBITDA guidance is $1,550 - $1,850 million. Australia Pacific LNG production is estimated at 625-670 PJ. Total capital expenditure and operating expenditure is expected to be $3.0-$3.3 billion.
Origin expects Energy Markets EBITDA to be offset by the ramp-up of the battery portfolio. Australia Pacific LNG production will reflect natural field decline. Total Origin capex for FY27 is expected to be $450 - 650 million.
