Sims Ltd FY26 Results: Strong Performance and Growth

Sims Ltd announced its FY26 full-year results, showing a substantial increase in underlying net profit after tax (NPAT) by 247.9% to $289.1 million from $83.1 million in FY25. Sales revenue rose 6.9% to $8,000.75 million, and underlying earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased 167.6% to $468.0 million. The Group's performance was driven by strong contributions from North America Metal (NAM) and SA Recycling (SAR), alongside exceptional growth in Sims Lifecycle Services (SLS). The final dividend was set at 20.0 cents per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to 34.0 cents, up 47.8% from the prior corresponding period. Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) improved to 11.7%.
FY27 underlying EBIT for SLS expected between $75 million and $90 million
The outlook for FY27 remains positive with continued strong demand for non-ferrous products and supportive market conditions. However, ferrous markets are expected to remain challenging, particularly in Australia and New Zealand.
