Cauldron Energy Identifies New Targets at Bennet Well
- Reprocessed seismic data reveals new extensions of Bennet Well deposit
- New tributary linking Bennet Well to Yanrey palaeochannel
- High priority exploration target identified for drilling
- Further seismic surveys planned to define new target areas
Cauldron Energy Ltd. has announced the reprocessing of historical passive seismic data at the Bennet Well deposit, revealing new extensions and potential uranium targets. The new imaging shows that the Bennet Well deposit comprises a complex estuary system with several second-order tributary arms. Additionally, a newly discovered tributary extends westwards linking the deposit to the Yanrey palaeochannel. The reprocessed data has also extended the newly discovered Yanrey palaeochannel 3km further upstream. Several small untested potential extensions to the Bennet Well Deposit are evident in the seismic imagery. Initial exploration drilling is planned to commence in the coming days. Further infill passive seismic is planned for the Bennet Well Deposit to better define the new target areas and to infill gaps.
Cauldron Energy plans to continue exploring the new targets identified at Bennet Well, with drilling expected to commence in the coming days. Further seismic surveys are planned to better define the new target areas.
