DXN Limited, a prefabricated modular data centre specialist, has been awarded an approximately $4.1 million contract by Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) Pty Ltd (APAM) for the supply of a prefabricated Edge data centre facility. Under the agreement, DXN will design, manufacture, deliver, install, and commission the facility. The contract is part of APAM's Airport Development Plan, Information and Communication Technology (ADP ICT) program, supporting critical ICT infrastructure at Melbourne Airport. DXN also secured an additional $1.6 million variation order from telecommunications customer Globalstar. The prefabricated model offers faster, higher-quality infrastructure deployment compared to traditional on-site construction.
