Tesoro Gold Announces High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Ternera
- Multiple wide, high-grade gold intercepts reported from infill drilling
- Assay results incorporated into updated Mineral Resource Estimate
- Drilling shifts to growth targets and new discovery targets
Tesoro Gold Limited has reported the final batch of assay results from infill drilling at the Ternera Gold Deposit in Chile, part of the El Zorro Gold Project. The results show multiple thick, high-grade gold intercepts, including 10.00m at 6.14g/t Au and 96.40m at 0.86g/t Au. These results are being incorporated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate ahead of a planned maiden Ore Reserve declaration. Extensional drilling is ongoing at near-deposit growth targets, with three diamond drill rigs active. District-scale new discovery drilling is scheduled to commence at La Brea and other high-priority targets across the 40km-long gold corridor.
Tesoro Gold plans to shift drilling focus to growth targets and new discovery targets, with three diamond drill rigs active and new access being established at La Brea and Pena Blanca.
