- Sterilisation drilling programs begin for key infrastructure
- Gold and silver JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) upgrades pending
Barton Gold Holdings Ltd. has commenced sterilisation drilling programs at its Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia. The drilling aims to identify suitable locations for infrastructure such as waste dumps, tailings storage facilities, and processing plants to avoid potential mineralisation. Barton is also advancing its geotechnical, metallurgical, and infrastructure planning programs in parallel. The company is currently undertaking a Pre-feasibility Study (PFS) to support a Mining Lease application and financing, targeting a publication in Q1 CY27. Additionally, Barton has completed 57,653m of reverse circulation (RC) and diamond (DD) drilling to upgrade Tunkillia's mineralisation to JORC 'Measured' and 'Indicated' categories, with upgrades pending.
