Meeka Metals Ltd Announces Visible Gold Discovery at Turnberry
- Visible gold discovered 300m below Turnberry Underground Reserve
- Second diamond drill rig mobilized to accelerate exploration
- Assays for hole 26TBRD010 expected in September 2026
- Previous drilling indicates potential for high-grade gold zones
Meeka Metals Ltd has reported significant progress in its exploration activities at the Turnberry Underground Reserve. Visible gold has been intersected 300 meters below the surface in drill hole 26TBRD010, within a broad shear zone. The drilling continues to encounter chalcopyrite and pyrite, and visible gold. A second diamond drill rig has been mobilized to site in mid-August to accelerate the understanding of this large gold system. Drill hole 26TBRD010 is the deepest hole drilled to date, hitting visible gold at 632.8 meters downhole. The shearing intensity appears to increase towards the central zone at Turnberry, corresponding with increased grade and width of mineralization at depth. Assays for 26TBRD010 are expected in September 2026, following detailed logging and sample despatch.
