First Au Limited is pleased to announce its plans to conduct an extensive RC drill program at the First Hit deposit, acquired as part of the Riverina East Transaction with Viking Mines. The program will focus on testing extensions to, and further defining, the known high-grade mineralisation, with the objective of advancing First Hit towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for FirstAu. First Hit was previously mined by Barra Mining, producing approximately 29,276 ounces of gold at an average head grade of 7.64g/t over 15 months. The deposit is strategically located near established infrastructure, with Ora Banda's Riverina underground mine 8km to the south, Davhurst processing plant 40km away, and approximately 50km from the sealed Goldfields highway and the town of Menzies.
