DeSoto Resources Limited is expanding its exploration efforts across its 100%-owned and joint venture projects in Guinea's Siguiri Goldfields. The company has recommenced a 485-hole, 10,000m Power Auger drilling program at the Timbakouna Gold Project, targeting 6km of artisanal workings and historic intercepts up to 18m @ 11.8g/t Au. Additionally, a geophysical survey has been completed across multiple projects, with data reprocessing underway. Soil sampling programs are also underway in southwest Siguiri at Yarakoura, Woussoubadou, and Branama following encouraging Bulk Leach Extractable Gold (BLEG) stream sediment sampling results. DeSoto is also expanding its joint venture exploration with Fortuna Mining in southeast Siguiri, with BLEG stream-sediment sampling, geological mapping, and systematic mapping of artisanal workings in progress.
