Koonenberry Gold Ltd
Key points
- Multiple high-priority gold and copper-gold drill targets identified at Wilga Flats
- Large-scale Cu-Au target identified from a 1.2km x 0.5km copper soil anomaly
- Historic drilling identified gold and base metal mineralisation
Full summary
Koonenberry Gold Ltd has announced the identification of multiple high-priority gold and copper-gold drill targets at its 100%-owned Wilga Flats Project in New South Wales. The targets were defined by a combination of soil geochemistry, geological mapping, 3D magnetic modelling, and an extensive 3D dipole-dipole IP survey. The Company has identified a large-scale copper-gold target from a 1.2km x 0.5km copper soil anomaly, with outcropping copper mineralisation up to 1.37% Cu. Historic drilling has also returned significant gold and base metal mineralisation, with re-assaying identifying previously unrecognized gold mineralisation. Drill permits have been submitted, and drilling is anticipated to commence following the completion of drilling at the Dunedoo Project.
Outlook
The Company is excited by the potential to unlock a significant new copper-gold and epithermal gold system at the Wilga Flats Project.
