Amplitude Energy Limited (ASX: AEL) has announced an update on the Juliet-1 well drilling operations. On 7 September 2026, the Juliet-1 well penetrated the primary Waarre C reservoir target, reaching a Total Depth of 2,199 metres TVDSS. A formation evaluation program was conducted between 8 - 9 September 2026 to collect pressure and sample data. Preliminary data collected from Juliet-1 implies excellent reservoir quality, with high deliverability and low CO2 levels (estimated at below 2 mol%). The Juliet-1 well program is currently ahead of schedule and budget. Forward plan includes completion of Juliet-1, followed by a clean-up of the well, which will then be suspended for future development as part of the East Coast Supply Project.
