Argent Minerals Limited has reported visible gold in ATDD002, the second hole of its maiden drilling program at the Trunkey Creek Gold Project. The hole intersected historic underground workings and found two quartz veins with visible gold at depths of 91.8m and 98.1m. The visible gold was observed as free grains up to 3mm along lamination planes and the vein selvedge, associated with sulphide. The veins showed no evidence of historic extraction, indicating they were missed by the old miners. The next hole is planned to test the mineralization continuity at approximately 200m, expected to be below any historic workings. Assays are pending for this hole, with fast-tracked results expected in less than 10 days.
