Meeka Metals Limited has announced an initial Mineral Resource of 270,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 2.4 grams per tonne at Mt Holland in Western Australia's Forrestania greenstone belt. The Mt Holland Gold Field is located 375km east of Perth in the Southern Cross Province of the Yilgarn Craton, one of the world's premier gold provinces. The Mineral Resource comprises three deposits: Blue Vein, Bushpig, and Razorback. The Blue Vein deposit has a Mineral Resource of 250,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 2.5 grams per tonne. The area has a history of gold production, with the Bounty gold mine, not owned by Meeka, having produced approximately 1.2 million ounces of gold at an average grade of 5.12 grams per tonne. Meeka's Managing Director and CEO, Tim Davidson, expressed optimism about the potential for further growth through systematic drilling over the next 12-18 months.
