Broken Hill Gold Ltd (ASX: BH6) has updated the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Vertigo deposit at its White Dam Gold Project in South Australia. The Vertigo Indicated oxide heap leachable resource has increased by 160% to 24,300oz Au. The global project resource has increased to approximately 120koz Au, representing a circa 20% increase. A mining study is underway to evaluate the economics of restarting the Vertigo pit for oxide heap leach material. Significant down-dip potential has been identified, with exploration holes planned to test potential mineralised extensions 200m down dip. A dual oxide and sulphide strategy is now underway with a second rig arriving on site.
