Scandium Drill Program Advances towards October Start

• Air core drilling program to test for scandium extensions and higher-grade zones is advancing

West Cobar Metals Limited (ASX: WC1) is pleased to provide an update on the rapid progress of its upcoming air core drill program at the Salazar Critical Minerals Project in Western Australia. The program is the first scandium focused drill campaign at Salazar and is designed to drill test areas with the aim of defining higher-grade scandium resources in shallow saprolite. Key preparations are well advanced: the heritage survey covering the proposed drilling areas has recently been completed, a Programme of Work application for the proposed drilling has been submitted to the Western Australian Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration, experienced air core contractor Wallis Drilling has been engaged, and subject to approvals and final operational arrangements, drilling is scheduled to commence in October 2026.
