Aroa Biosurgery Ltd. announced positive results from a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) for its Symphony product, published in the International Wound Journal. The RCT, involving 143 patients across 10 US sites, found that adding Symphony to standard care significantly improved healing outcomes for diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). Specifically, 55% of DFUs in the Symphony arm achieved complete wound closure within 12 weeks, compared to 35% in the standard care-only arm. Additionally, the mean time to complete wound closure was 65.4 days for DFUs in the Symphony arm, compared to 73.2 days for those in the standard care-only arm, a reduction of 7.8 days.
