Clever Culture Systems Ltd (ASX: CC5) has secured a $2.6 million funding package to accelerate the development of APAS® Revolution, a new benchtop configuration of its Automated Plate Assessment System (APAS®) technology. This new system is designed to extend automated environmental monitoring to smaller sterile drug manufacturing facilities, expanding the total addressable market (TAM) for APAS® technology by approximately 50% to an estimated $4.3 billion. APAS® Revolution leverages the core technology used in APAS® Independence, which lowers the cost of development, reduces the development timeline, and lowers the development risk. The funding package includes a targeted $1.0 million capital raise and a $1.6 million unsecured loan due for repayment on 30 November 2027. The mix of equity and debt provides capital efficient funding, supported by an improved outlook for sales over the next 12 months and beyond.
