36m at 1.55g/t Gold in Bluetooth RC Drilling
- Significant shallow gold intercepts from recent Reverse Circulation (RC) exploration drilling at the Bluetooth Gold Prospect
- Results upgrade and build on historical RC drilling, highlighting potential for near-surface gold mineralisation
- Additional drilling planned along the 700m strike length to test dip and strike continuity
Solstice Minerals Limited (ASX: SLS) has reported the results of recent RC drilling at the Bluetooth Gold Prospect within the Yarri Gold Project. The first-stage RC drilling has returned strong gold intercepts in composite sampling along a 700m strike, including a standout intercept of 36m @ 1.55g/t Au from 20m in BTHRC016, plus 16m @ 1.85g/t Au from 44m in BTHRC013 and 12m @ 1.18g/t Au from 68m in BTHRC014. The gold mineralisation is interpreted to be associated with oxidised chert, ironstone and quartz veining, with the 36m @ 1.55g/t intercept sitting within a interpreted local north-plunging fold closure. The results substantially upgrade and build on the limited historical RC drilling at the Prospect, highlighting the potential to delineate valuable near-surface gold mineralisation. Solstice plans to conduct additional drilling along the 700m strike length following the receipt of assays from one-metre resampling. The Bluetooth Prospect is located close to infrastructure in the active Yarri Project area, where Solstice controls over 1,650km2 of highly prospective geology.
Solstice plans to conduct additional drilling along the 700m strike length at the Bluetooth Prospect following the receipt of assays from one-metre resampling, to further test the dip and strike continuity of the gold mineralisation.
