Regal Partners Limited (ASX:RPL) has announced a strong preliminary update for the 2024 financial year, reporting record net inflows and a significant increase in funds under management (FUM). The company's FUM rose to approximately $18.0 billion as of 31 December 2024, a 4.6% increase from the $17.2 billion reported as of 30 September 2024. This growth was driven by record net inflows of around $2.1 billion for the 2024 calendar year, including $0.7 billion in the December 2024 quarter and an additional $0.2 billion in binding commitments from an offshore investor. Investment performance for the quarter resulted in a $0.2 billion decrease, while other factors, including distributions, buybacks, and positive foreign exchange movements, contributed an additional $0.3 billion. Regal Partners also provided an update on its performance fee revenue, estimating that it will recognize approximately $25 million in performance fee revenue (pre-tax and on a normalized basis) for the six months ended 31 December 2024. This takes the company's total performance fees for the 2024 calendar year to approximately $85 million.
