Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited (EOS) has announced that the divestment of EM Solutions Pty Limited is now expected to be completed on 31 January 2025. This follows the announcement made by EOS on 21 November 2024 of its intention to sell 100% of EM Solutions to Cohort plc. Since that date, the necessary conditions have been met, including obtaining counterparty consents, waivers and amendments for certain material contracts. Cohort has now indicated its intention to complete the transaction on 31 January 2025. EOS operates in two divisions: Defence Systems and Space Systems. Defence Systems specialises in technology for weapon systems optimisation and integration, as well as ISR and C4 systems for land warfare. Space Systems includes Space Technologies, which specialises in applying EOS-developed optical sensors and effectors to detect, track and characterise objects in space, and EM Solutions, which delivers world-leading RF and optical space communications technology.
