CurveBeam AI Limited (ASX:CVB), a developer and manufacturer of point-of-care weight bearing CT imaging (WBCT) equipment, has signed a commercial agreement with Stryker Australia Pty Ltd for the territories of Australia and New Zealand. Under the exclusive 3-year agreement, with a further 2-year term, Stryker will provide direct education of surgeons and promotion of CurveBeam AI's HiRise WBCT scanner. This is aimed at increasing demand for WBCT scans through improved surgeon awareness and understanding of the benefits of WBCT. Stryker has a 25+ person sales organisation in the region that will assist in educating local surgeons on the advantages of WBCT and refer sales opportunities to CurveBeam AI. CurveBeam AI will then conclude sales directly with imaging centres and hospitals in Australia and New Zealand. The company sees this agreement as a material expansion of its market opportunity in these countries, following the expiration of its previous local distribution agreement.
