Plenti Group Limited (Plenti) reported record quarterly loan originations of $383.3 million in Q3 FY25, up 32% year-over-year (YoY) and 19% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ). This was the highest ever quarterly origination volume for the company. Loan originations were strong across all lending verticals, with automotive loans up 27% YoY and 15% QoQ, renewable energy loans up 16% YoY and 9% QoQ, and personal loans up 46% YoY and 27% QoQ. Plenti's loan portfolio grew to $2.4 billion at 31 December 2024, a 16% increase from the prior year and a 5% increase from the prior quarter. The company continued to see strong credit performance, with annualised net credit losses of 103 basis points, down from 117 basis points in the prior quarter (excluding the benefit of a debt sale). Plenti also saw an improvement in arrears, with 90+ day arrears of 47 basis points at the end of the quarter, down from 50 basis points in the prior quarter. The company's proprietary technology platform and credit engine improvements have driven a significant increase in automated credit approvals, improving efficiency and customer experience. Plenti completed a $330 million personal and renewable energy loan ABS transaction in November 2024, its third for the year, taking total issuance for the 2024 calendar year to over $1.1 billion.
