The Group's earnings per share also grew by 8.0% to 261.1 cents per share. JB Hi-Fi Australia reported a 7.2% increase in sales to $3.88 billion, with comparable sales also up 7.2%. JB Hi-Fi New Zealand saw a 20.0% surge in sales to NZD202.5 million, with comparable sales up 6.9%. The Good Guys delivered a 9.2% increase in sales to $1.52 billion, with comparable sales up 8.8%. The Group also completed the acquisition of a 75% stake in premium home appliance retailer e&s during the half, with e&s contributing $92.3 million in sales and $1.9 million in EBIT. The Group maintains a strong balance sheet, with net cash of $555.1 million as at 31 December 2024. An interim dividend of 170 cents per share, up 7.6%, was declared.
