EOS Lands Historic A$700m Counter-Drone Deal

Electro Optic Systems Holdings has secured what it's calling the largest contract in its history—a A$700 million nationwide counter-drone defense system with a Middle Eastern Gulf state. The contract will deploy EOS's NiDAR command and control system alongside third-party sensors and effectors. The company expects the deal to be profitable and cashflow positive over its term, with the bulk of revenue arriving within the first two years. Of course, EOS will need to clear some hurdles first, including securing export licenses and providing a performance bond.

Alcidion Consolidating Shares, Holding AGM

Alcidion Group is planning a 1-for-10 capital consolidation to streamline its capital structure and improve share price granularity. The move will reduce the share count from 1.35 billion to approximately 135 million, though it won't change the company's market capitalization, assets, operations, or shareholder ownership. Shareholders will vote on the consolidation at the company's Annual General Meeting on November 12, 2026, which will be held virtually at 4:00pm AEDT. The AGM agenda also includes consideration of financial statements, an advisory vote on the remuneration report, and the re-election of director Rebecca Wilson.
