Change Financial Ltd is firing on all cylinders with its Q1 FY27 update, posting a positive net cash flow of A$0.3m while its core business accelerates. The real standout is the PaaS platform, which hit record quarterly revenue of A$3.2m—a 26% jump quarter-over-quarter. Even more impressive, active cards on the platform surged 92% in the same period. The company has already signed two new PaaS clients and has four more in final contracting negotiations, setting up a solid runway for growth. With six new clients expected to onboard and a focus on commercializing its Paysim product, Change is reconfirming its full-year guidance of positive net cash flow.
Over at Resmed Inc, it's been a busy news cycle with multiple announcements. The healthcare technology giant reported strong Q1 FY2027 results, with revenue climbing 6% to $1.4 billion (7% on a core constant currency basis). Earnings per share impressed too—GAAP diluted EPS jumped 23% to $2.92, while non-GAAP diluted EPS rose 14% to $2.91. The company is clearly committed to returning value to shareholders, having distributed more than $1 billion through buybacks and dividends in the quarter alone. Looking ahead, Resmed is guiding for FY2027 revenue between $5.75 and $5.85 billion, with non-GAAP diluted EPS of $12.00 to $12.25.
On the dividend front, Resmed declared a USD 0.066 per share payout for CDI holders on the ASX, with an ex-date of November 11 and payment scheduled for December 17. The company also announced a temporary deferral of conversions between its US and Australian registers from November 11-12 to avoid inconsistent dividend entitlements—a procedural measure granted waivers by the ASX.
Xreality Group Ltd is making waves in the defense and security space. The company's global customer base expanded to 132 in Q1 FY27, representing 12% growth quarter-over-quarter and 65% year-over-year. Annual recurring revenue climbed to $8.8m, up 10% QoQ and 46% YoY. The big news is landing its first US Marine Corps order for OP-2 Interceptor counter-drone training systems, following successful demonstrations. New contracts also came through with Miami Beach Police, the Federal Reserve Bank, and the US Air Force's 36th Contracting Squadron in Guam. Meanwhile, the company has exited its entertainment VR sector entirely, closing all FREAK venues to focus on its core defense and training business.
Coles Group Limited reported first quarter 2027 sales results showing a 3.6% increase in Supermarkets revenue to $10.3 billion. The standout performer was eCommerce, which surged 22.9%, now representing 15.7% of total sales. Exclusive to Coles products grew 4.3%, with Coles Finest up a robust 13.3%. Liquor sales slipped 1.3%, though the convenience portfolio showed some improvement. On the loyalty front, Flybuys engagement picked up notably, with swipe rates climbing 110 basis points and points redemptions rising 16%. The company expects first half Supermarkets EBIT to track in line with the prior year, though it's navigating heightened competitive activity and ongoing cost-of-living pressures affecting customer behavior.
Reece Ltd posted Q1 FY27 sales revenue of A$2,510 million, up 4.3% year-over-year and 8.7% on a constant currency basis. The ANZ region is firing, with sales jumping 12.8%, while the US grew a more modest 5.6% with like-for-like sales up 2.4%. CEO Peter Wilson acknowledged strong momentum in ANZ but flagged softness in the US residential new construction market. While the company expects a strong first half in ANZ, management is taking a cautious stance on the second half of FY27 given the complex macroeconomic environment.
