Boom Logistics Ltd has released its Appendix 4D Half Year Report for the period ended 31 December 2024. The company reported revenue of $131.7 million, up 1.6% from the previous corresponding period (1H FY24: $129.7 million). This increase was primarily driven by windfarm and transmission line project activity. EBITDA for the period was $25.5 million, an improvement of 5% compared to 1H FY24 ($24.3 million). The enhanced underlying performance was attributed to improved margins, tight cost controls, and operational optimization above 85%. Operating Net Profit was $5.0 million, up 32% from the previous corresponding period ($3.8 million in 1H FY24). Statutory NPAT was $19.0 million, bolstered by the inclusion of $14 million in deferred tax benefits. The company's balance sheet remains strong, with available debt facilities of $150 million (up from $140 million in the previous corresponding period) and a gearing ratio of 43.5% (30 June 2024: 41.4%). Net capex for the period was $21.3 million, including replacement capex of $14.4 million and growth capex of $10.9 million, offset by asset disposal proceeds of $4.0 million. The company also continued its on-market share buyback program, purchasing approximately $1.4 million in shares during 1H FY25. Cash generated from operating activities increased 25% to $23.3 million, and the company ended the period with a net cash position of $8.5 million.
