Infratil Limited, an infrastructure investment company, announced that its subsidiary CDC (Capacity Development Company) hosted a briefing and site visit to its new Brooklyn data centre campus in Melbourne. The Brooklyn campus became operational in 2024 and features a state-of-the-art, highly secure data centre with high-speed interconnectivity between regions. This new facility adds significant high-density capacity to CDC's platform. Complementing the Brooklyn campus, CDC also has plans to further expand its presence in Victoria with the construction of a new Laverton campus, which commenced in February 2025. Once fully developed, CDC's total capacity in the state of Victoria is expected to exceed 785MW.
