Stockland (ASX:SGP) has announced that it has finalized contractual negotiations with Homes NSW to undertake the Waterloo Renewal Project, one of Australia's largest and most significant inner-city renewal initiatives. The Stockland consortium, which includes partners Link Wentworth, City West Housing and Birribee Housing, will deliver a sustainable mixed-tenure community of over 3000 apartments, with 50% of the homes designated as social and affordable housing. The project is expected to commence in 2027, subject to all relevant planning and internal approvals.
