Aussie Broadband Outlines Strategic Ambitions for FY28

Aussie Broadband is holding its Investor Day today, where the company will outline its strategic priorities and ambitions for the next three years. By FY28, Aussie aims to have group revenue surpass $1.6 billion with EBITDA margins expected to expand beyond 12.5%. The company also aims to diversify its revenue, with the residential segment expected to contribute less than 60% of the Group's total revenue. Aussie is targeting an NBN market share (excluding satellite) of over 11% and is focused on delivering earnings per share (EPS) growth of more than 20% CAGR. These ambitions are underpinned by Aussie's 'Look-to-28' strategy, which will focus on operational efficiency, growth, strategic investments, and disciplined capital management. Aussie is also providing a trading update, reporting its best organic quarterly net growth in connections in the last three years, with Q3 adding 24,279 net connections overall, 29% higher than the prior corresponding quarter. The company has also signed a binding Heads of Agreement with Optus to continue providing wholesale mobile services and strengthen the partnership between the two companies. Aussie Broadband reaffirms its upgraded guidance provided at 1H FY25 results, with Underlying EBITDA for FY25 expected to be in the range of $133m to $138m.
