High-Grade Gold Confirmed in Fresh Rock at Edjudina Range
Key Points
  • One-metre resampling confirms high-grade gold structures in fresh rock
  • RC results demonstrate Edjudina Range is a mineralised system with significant potential
  • Further aircore drilling to evaluate orientation of gold-bearing structures and guide next phase of RC drilling
Full Summary

Solstice Minerals has announced that one-metre resampling of composite gold intercepts in recent reverse circulation (RC) and aircore drilling at the Edjudina Range gold discovery has confirmed the presence of high-grade gold structures in fresh rock. Significant results include 2m @ 11.10g/t Au from 75m in EDRRC003 (including 1m @ 20.90g/t Au) and 2m @ 5.79g/t Au from 91m in EDRRC007 (including 1m @ 10.87g/t Au). While exploration of the fresh-rock profile remains at an early stage, the RC results to date demonstrate that Edjudina Range is a mineralised system with significant potential, with over 1g/t Au intercepts obtained in five of the seven RC drillholes completed to date. Exploration continues, with a further 24 aircore holes recently completed to evaluate the orientation of gold-bearing structures along the over 1km long anomalous trend, as well as step-out exploration beyond the northern limits of drilling. Results from the recently completed aircore drilling are expected in the coming weeks and will guide the design of the next phase of RC drilling. Results are also imminent for one-metre resampling completed at the Bluetooth prospect, located 24km along strike to the north, where multiple strong intercepts of up to 32m @ 1.68g/t Au were returned in recent RC drilling.

Outlook

Solstice is maintaining an active exploration pace across its portfolio, with resampling results due from Bluetooth and further RC drilling being designed at both Edjudina Range and Bluetooth prospects.
