Key Points
  • Completed 25-hole Aircore (AC) drilling program at Myall FJVA Copper-Gold Project
  • Assay results expected in early 2026
  • Commenced 9 line-km Induced Polarization (IP) survey to test for sulfides
  • 14 diamond drill holes planned to test geochemical anomalies and magnetic features
Full Summary

Magmatic Resources has completed a 25-hole Aircore (AC) drilling program at its Myall Farm-in and Joint Venture Agreement (FJVA) Copper-Gold Project in New South Wales. The AC program was funded by FJVA partner FMG Resources Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortescue Ltd (ASX: FMG), as part of a $3.5M exploration budget for the 2025-26 financial year. The AC program tested Ordovician-aged basement across three magnetic features interpreted to be prospective for Northparkes-style copper-gold porphyry mineralisation. Assay results from the AC drilling are expected in early 2026. Magmatic has also commenced an Induced Polarization (IP) survey comprising up to 9 line-km. The IP survey is designed to test the potential of the method to delineate the extent of sulfides beneath conductive cover across the Corvette-Kingswood mineral resource estimate (MRE) and the Calais target. If the initial trial line is successful, the eastern section of the northern line and the southern line will be completed. Additionally, Magmatic plans to conduct 14 diamond drill holes up to 500 m deep for a total of 5,000 m to test geochemical anomalism and coincident magnetic features interpreted to be prospective for Northparkes-style copper-gold porphyry deposits. The diamond drilling is scheduled to commence in January 2026 and will target the Calais, Interceptor, Barina, and Gemini prospects.

Outlook

Magmatic Resources is progressing its exploration program at the Myall FJVA Copper-Gold Project, with the completion of the AC drilling program and the commencement of the IP survey. The next step will be the diamond drilling campaign, which is scheduled to begin in early January 2026.
