Full Summary

GenusPlus Group Ltd (ASX: GNP), a national essential power and communications infrastructure provider, has executed a secured Revolving Syndicated Facility Agreement (SFA) with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, HSBC and National Australia Bank. The SFA provides Genus with a revolving multi-option facility of A$429 million for a three-year term (or one year for appropriate sub-facilities). This SFA replaces the previous A$147 million club facility. The utilisation of the facilities is subject to customary corporate finance conditions precedent, which the company expects to be met shortly. The enhanced funding capability will support the ongoing growth strategy of Genus as the industry tailwinds continue to evolve, enabling increased flexibility in managing the operational and capital needs of the business. In combination with Genus' surety bond facilities, the SFA provides substantial headroom for future growth opportunities. Genus Managing Director, David Riches, stated that the company is pleased to enter into this multi-option facility with its syndicate of lenders, whom they consider business partners. While Genus has a strong balance sheet and generates significant operating cash flow, the company felt it was important to be proactive in adding financial flexibility, which this revolving facility provides.
