- DroneShield receives $6.2 million contract from Asia Pacific military end-customer
- Delivery and cash payment expected in 2026
- Part of ongoing relationship with reseller, with 14 contracts worth over $48 million in past 2 years
DroneShield Limited (ASX:DRO) has announced that it has received a $6.2 million contract for delivery of its solutions to a military end-customer in the Asia Pacific region. The contract is with an in-country reseller, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a multi-billion dollar, global, publicly listed customer that is contractually required to distribute solutions to a major Asia Pacific military government department. The solutions include selected 3rd party hardware, interoperable with DroneShield's command-and-control software platform, DroneSentry-C2. DroneShield expects to complete the delivery and receive payment in 2026, with no additional material conditions needing to be satisfied. This contract is part of an ongoing relationship between DroneShield and the reseller, with the company having previously received 14 standalone contracts from this reseller over the past 2 years totalling over $48 million. However, there is no obligation for any additional contracts from this customer. DroneShield has confirmed that the identity of the counterparty/customer is not information that a reasonable person would expect to have a material effect on the price or value of the company's securities, and that the announcement contains all material information relevant to assessing the impact of the contract.
