Koonenberry Gold Accelerates Drilling at Enmore Gold Project
- Commenced 10,000m diamond drilling program at Sunnyside Prospect
- Completed 1,864m RC drilling program at Hand in Hand Prospect
- Defined +4km of gold + arsenic soil anomalies along the Borah Fault
Koonenberry Gold accelerated its drilling activities at the Enmore Gold Project during the quarter, commencing a 10,000m diamond drilling program at the Sunnyside Prospect and completing a 1,864m RC drilling program at the Hand in Hand Prospect. At Sunnyside, the diamond drilling targeted extensions to the high-grade gold mineralization intercepted during the Phase I program, with visible gold reported in four out of the first five drillholes. The company believes the mineralization has been extended to over 400m from surface. At Hand in Hand, the RC drilling targeted a +2km prospective shear zone east of Sunnyside, where subsequent assay results showed extensive gold mineralization. In addition, the company defined a +4km gold-arsenic soil anomaly along the parallel Borah Fault, highlighting the district-scale potential of the project. Elsewhere, the company continued geological assessments and planned IP geophysical surveys at its Lachlan Copper-Gold Projects to advance them to drill-ready status in early 2026. The company ended the quarter with a strong cash balance of $6.3 million and no debt.
Koonenberry Gold will continue to execute its 10,000m diamond drilling program at Enmore, focusing on extending the high-grade gold mineralization at the Sunnyside Prospect. The company will also conduct additional soil sampling along prospective structures, including in the northwest of the project area to follow up antimony-gold-arsenic anomalies. At the Lachlan Projects, the company plans to conduct geophysical surveys and other field work to advance multiple targets to drill-ready status in preparation for testing in early 2026.
