New RC Drilling Programme Underway at Vadrians
- Follow up programme of reverse circulation (RC) drilling commenced at Vadrians
- Programme to test northern strike extensions and depth continuity of high-grade gold lode
- Assays awaited for 160 air core holes and 5 diamond holes testing Vadrians depth extensions
Caprice Resources Ltd (ASX: CRS) has commenced a new reverse circulation (RC) drilling programme at the Vadrians prospect within its Island Gold Project in Western Australia. The programme is initially scheduled to comprise approximately 5,000m and will follow up on northern strike extensions of the Vadrians' high-grade gold lode, as well as test depth and strike continuity beneath previous high-grade intersections. A key focus of the programme will be on the southern depth extents of the Vadrians mineralisation down to around 350m, which will precede a deeper diamond drilling campaign once the RC collars have been completed. The company is also awaiting outstanding assays for 160 air core holes drilled across the broader 5km mineralised BIF horizon at the Island Gold Project, which will inform potential further drilling programmes to vector in on identified targets. Additionally, assay results remain outstanding for five diamond holes testing the depth extensions of the Vadrians deposit. Caprice's Managing Director, Luke Cox, commented that the commencement of this RC drilling programme is the next important step in the systematic delineation of the Vadrians gold system.
The company is rapidly advancing towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate to demonstrate the scale and continuity of the Murchison's next major gold discovery at the Island Gold Project.
