ARB Corporation Ltd reports half year results

ARB Corporation Limited ('ARB' or the 'Company') generated sales revenue of $358.0 million for the half year ended 31 December 2025 ('1H FY2026'), down 1.0% compared with the previous corresponding period. Reported profit before tax and profit after tax for 1H FY2026 were $57.1 million and $42.2 million respectively, representing a decrease of 18.8% and 17.2% respectively over the previous corresponding period. Profit before tax and profit after tax for 1H FY2026 excluding one-off adjustments declined by 16.3% and 14.4% respectively. The reduction in underlying profit was driven primarily by reduced sales margins resulting from the weaker Australian dollar and lower factory overhead recoveries. The Board has declared an interim dividend of 34.0 cents per share, fully franked at a 30% tax rate. The ARB Dividend Reinvestment Plan and Bonus Share Plan will operate for the interim dividend. The Company's longer-term future remains positive as OEMs globally continue to develop and expand their 4x4 SUV and pick-up vehicle models. Sales margins in 2H FY2026 are expected to be broadly in line with those achieved in 2H FY2025, supported by the Company's Thai baht exposure being nearly fully hedged at slightly more favourable rates.
