Full Summary

Lunnon Metals has provided an update on mining activities at the Lady Herial gold mine and successful exploration results from the Defiance Dolerite focused program at the company's Foster-Baker Gold Project. Mining is progressing well at Lady Herial, with the first 'Collection Notices' issued under the Ore Purchase Agreement with St Ives Gold Mining Co. To date, a total of 38,287 tonnes @ 1.56 g/t Au for over 1,750 oz gold has been signed off. The exploration team has identified a new gold structure northwest of Lady Herial, termed the Agnes prospect, with drilling returning intercepts of 3m @ 1.37 g/t Au and 8m @ 1.99 g/t Au. This new structure is too deep for open pit extraction but will be investigated further for potential underground development. The company has also reviewed historical nickel drilling data, which suggests the Lady Herial structural system extends more than 550m down plunge, strengthening the concept of potentially exploiting the gold structures via underground means in the future. As the gold mineralisation continues to deepen and plunge towards the Foster Nickel Mine, the opportunity for future potential synergies between underground mining of nickel and gold strengthen.

Outlook

The company will continue the Defiance Dolerite scout drilling program further to the northwest where over 2,300m of the dolerite remains untested near surface. Similarly, approximately 1,500m of Defiance Dolerite to the southeast is yet to be assessed for its potential to host gold mineralisation.
