Bolt Cutter Central Lithium Discovery Extends to 2.3km
- Exploration drilling extends Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery by 300m to the north
- Bolt Cutter Central now extends over 2.3km to the northwest and 800m to the northeast
- Metallurgical drilling confirms high-grade spodumene mineralization across the discovery
Wildcat Resources has announced a ~300m northerly extension of its Bolt Cutter Central lithium discovery in Western Australia, with three diamond drillholes intersecting interpreted spodumene mineralization. This extends the total strike length of the discovery to over 2.3km to the northwest and up to 800m to the northeast. The company has also received assay results from a metallurgical drilling program at Bolt Cutter Central, with each of the three drillholes intercepting multiple high-grade pegmatite intervals. Best results include 9.4m at 1.3% Li2O, 8.1m at 1.2% Li2O, and 7.6m at 1.4% Li2O. Wildcat is now planning to commence extensional and infill RC drilling at Bolt Cutter Central, as well as initial exploration on the adjacent E45/5416 tenement. The company remains well-funded with $48.5 million cash as at 31 December 2025 to advance its exploration and development activities.
Wildcat plans to commence extensional and infill RC drilling at Bolt Cutter Central, as well as initial exploration on the adjacent E45/5416 tenement, to further define the extent and grade of the lithium mineralization. The company will also complete initial metallurgical testwork on core samples from Bolt Cutter Central and progress environmental studies and a Mining Lease application.
