EXCEPTIONAL ASSAY RESULTS UP TO 53.2% CAF2 AT MAMMOTH
- First assay results confirm exceptionally high-grade Fluorspar mineralisation from a 9,000m2 prospective target zone
- Outstanding rock chip results include up to 53.2% CaF2
- Mineralisation recorded in surrounding limestone indicates the target zone extends to the West and North
OD6 Metals Ltd has announced the first rock assay results from preliminary due diligence sampling at the Mammoth Prospect, part of the company's Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, USA. The results confirm exceptionally high-grade Fluorspar mineralisation, with outstanding rock chip samples returning up to 53.2% CaF2. Additional high-grade results include 43.8% CaF2, 33.8% CaF2, 32.9% CaF2, and 31.5% CaF2. Importantly, the presence of high-grade fluorspar in the surrounding limestone indicates the target zone extends to the west and north, suggesting a broader high-grade Fluorspar system than previously recognised. The company also highlighted the high prospectivity of mineralisation extending to the east under cover, which remains untested. These results validate historic data and confirm a large-scale, high-grade fluorspar system at Mammoth. OD6 is now focused on systematically advancing exploration and defining drill targets, with the aim of establishing one of the premier fluorspar projects in the United States.
The company is well funded to accelerate exploration at the Quinn Fluorspar Project, with plans to conduct systematic surface rock chip and channel sampling, verify historic assay grades, complete detailed geological mapping and structural interpretation, undertake soil geochemistry sampling, develop and prioritize drill targets, commence permitting for the initial drill program, and review metallurgical sampling and testing needs.
