High-Grade Assays Confirm SOZ Geological Model
- High-grade polymetallic mineralisation confirmed, validating the Southern Ore Zone (SOZ) geological model and underpinning mine planning.
- Drilling results support near-term underground development and stoping activities.
- Significant polymetallic value at Mineral Hill, with contributions from copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc enhancing overall project economics.
Kingston Resources Limited (ASX: KSN) is pleased to report high-grade assay results from underground infill drilling at Southern Ore Zone (SOZ) within its Mineral Hill Mine, reinforcing the SOZ geological model and supporting near-term underground development. The drilling campaign was designed to de-risk underground development and optimise stope design at SOZ. Results confirm both the location and continuity of high-grade mineralisation, providing increased confidence in converting resources into mineable reserves. Key highlights from the assay results include 2.1m @ 14.28% Pb, 3.98% Zn, 59g/t Ag, 21.4m @ 0.46g/t Au, 1.22% Cu, 2.7% Pb, 1.96% Zn, 43g/t Ag (including 7.5m @ 1.2g/t Au, 3.31% Cu, 5.67% Pb, 1.96% Zn, 76g/t Ag), and 6.10m @ 6.36% Pb, 8.81% Zn, 117g/t Ag. These high-grade results demonstrate consistent high-grade zones within broader mineralised envelopes, a key factor in supporting strong operating margins in underground mining scenarios. The drilling results support near-term underground development and stoping activities at the Mineral Hill Mine.
The Company is focused on meeting near mine production targets located on the existing MLs, with the aim to extend the mine's life through organic growth and consider regional deposits that could be processed at Mineral Hill's processing plant.
