15,260m Leonora South Drilling Campaign Completed
- Completed 269 drillholes for 15,260m across three drilling programs
- Partner-funded development drilling at Eclipse, Orion and Sapphire to support resource definition
- Aggressive RC and greenfields aircore drilling to test new discovery targets
GoldArc Resources Limited (ASX:GA8) has successfully completed its multi-program drilling campaign at the Leonora South Gold Project, located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. The campaign comprised 269 drillholes for a total of 15,260m, marking the largest combined drilling effort undertaken by GoldArc at Leonora South. The program advanced both pillars of GoldArc's dual-track strategy, including partner-funded development drilling at Eclipse, Orion and Sapphire to support resource definition and future mine planning, as well as aggressive RC and greenfields aircore drilling to test new discovery targets across the broader Kookynie district. The development RC program, fully funded by GoldArc's partner Mineral Mining Services Pty Ltd, was designed to infill and extend known mineralisation to improve geological confidence for future mine planning. GoldArc's advanced RC program targeted extensions to known mineralisation at the Cosmopolitan deposit and step-out drilling at the Whistler and Woodpecker prospects, with Woodpecker remaining a high-priority target following a previous standout aircore result. Additionally, GoldArc's 6,340m aircore drilling program significantly expanded geological coverage across highly prospective greenfields areas, systematically testing multiple drill-ready targets along favourable structural trends. All assay results from the three programs are expected by the end of May 2026, and the company will provide updates to the market as the results are received.
