Aldoro Extends Kameelburg REE-Sr-Nb Mineralisation
- DD004F intersects 354.2m of continuous REE-Sr-Nb-Mo mineralisation
- Significant intercepts include 57m at 1.85% TREO, 5.56% SrCO3, 0.16% Nb₂O₅
- Strontium confirmed as a second major commodity at Kameelburg
Aldoro Resources has received assay results for diamond drill hole DD004F, which was drilled from the DD004 pad to test the northwest structural corridor of the Kameelburg carbonatite. The hole intersected 354.2m of continuous REE, strontium, niobium and molybdenum mineralisation, with significant intercepts including 57m at 1.85% TREO, 5.56% SrCO3, 0.16% Nb₂O₅ and 451ppm Mo from surface, and 6m at 1.72% TREO, 5.17% SrCO3, 0.15% Nb₂O₅ and 165ppm Mo from 60m. The hole ended in mineralisation and remains open at depth, with the interpreted high-grade REE-SrCO3 core identified in previous drilling a priority target for future deep drilling. Strontium carbonate (strontianite) has been confirmed as a second significant commodity at Kameelburg, with broad zones of >5% SrCO3 systematically occurring in association with elevated TREO. The Phase II drilling program has now been completed with 15 holes drilled across 7,190m, and the company is preparing to commence bulk sampling from the Kameelburg carbonatite.
