Breakthrough Minerals Limited (ASX: BTM) has announced its Quarterly Activities Report for the period ending 31 March 2026. The key highlights include the successful completion of the 100% acquisition of the North Queensland Copper-Gold (NQCG) Project, which comprises a total of approximately 952km2 of granted tenure including over 21km2 of granted Mining Leases. The NQCG Project has an existing global Mineral Resource Estimate of 18.8Mt @ 1.07% CuEq for 200kt of contained CuEq metal. The company sees strong potential for resource growth through extensional and advanced exploration drilling programs at the Hazel Creek and Barbara Project areas in 2026. Subsequent to the quarter end, Breakthrough commenced drilling operations at the Barbara Copper-Gold Project, targeting down-plunge extensions of the existing resource and testing coincident electromagnetic conductors identified along strike to the south-east of the current resource envelope. The company also plans to conduct exploration drilling programs at the Hazel Creek, Soldiers Cap, and Cloncurry Projects during 2026.

Breakthrough Minerals is focused on expanding the current resource base at the North Queensland Copper-Gold Project, testing near-mine mineralisation along proven structural corridors, and systematically drill-testing the numerous advanced exploration targets across the tenure. The company believes the project has significant scope to grow the resource through the drill bit and is aiming to provide a steady flow of results through the remainder of 2026 as it works to unlock the full exploration potential of this project.
