Aurum hits thick gold intersections at BDT2
- Resource growth potential: Drilling confirms gold mineralisation outside of current MRE boundaries at BDT2; gold system remains open
- 130,000m planned for CY2026: 16 diamond drill rigs to drive resource growth at Boundiali and Napié
- Boundiali Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) expected in May 2026 and Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) expected late CY2026
Aurum Resources (ASX: AUE) is pleased to announce the latest gold intercepts from its ongoing 100,000m diamond drilling program at the 3.03Moz Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The assay results are from 28 holes for 9,905.85m, designed to grow Mineral Resources and increase geological confidence at the BDT2 deposit. Key drill intercepts include 40.60m @ 1.06 g/t Au, 26m @ 1.48 g/t Au, and 23m @ 1.32 g/t Au. The drilling has confirmed gold mineralisation outside of the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) boundaries, and the gold system remains open. Aurum is planning to have 16 diamond drill rigs operating in CY2026 to drive resource growth across the Boundiali deposits, as well as testing the potential for blind discoveries. The company's group gold resources now stand at 4.2Moz, and with $61M in cash, Aurum is well-positioned to deliver further resource growth, a Boundiali Pre-Feasibility Study in May 2026, and a Definitive Feasibility Study in late 2026.
Aurum is planning a 130,000m drilling program in CY2026 to drive resource growth at the Boundiali and Napié Gold Projects. The company expects to deliver a Pre-Feasibility Study for the Boundiali Gold Project in May 2026 and a Definitive Feasibility Study in late CY2026.
Aurum believes there remains a high potential for blind discoveries at the Boundiali Gold Project, providing a clear pathway for continued resource growth in CY2026. The company will continue to use its strong balance sheet and self-owned drill rig fleet to drive multi-rig drilling activity focused on rapid resource conversion, resource growth, and economic de-risking.
