Everest Metals Corporation has announced a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Revere gold project in Western Australia, totaling 15 million tonnes at 0.54 g/t Au for 260,780 ounces of gold. The MRE was prepared in accordance with the JORC Code (2012) and includes Indicated Resources of 6.38Mt at 0.57 g/t Au and Inferred Resources of 8.63Mt at 0.53 g/t Au. The Revere project is located approximately 90km northeast of Meekatharra and covers a 171km2 tenement package. Exploration has defined a 6km-long shear-hosted gold system, with the current MRE focused on the Big John and Armstrong deposits. Mineralisation commences at surface and remains open along strike, with the resource model indicating the deposit is amenable to open pit mining methods with low stripping requirements. Previous bulk sampling and metallurgical testwork have confirmed that the gold can be extracted via a simple gravity process. With only around 25% of the Revere Reef system systematically drilled to date, the company sees significant potential for further resource growth through additional exploration and drilling.
Further resource drilling is being planned to test extensions and increase resource confidence along the Revere Reef shear zone. Upcoming aircore drilling programs will target both along-strike and down-dip positions to improve geological understanding and test continuity of mineralised structures.
